Nokia G11 – Nice and Practical Solution

by Eloiza

Nokia smartphones currently represent only the middle and lower segments of the market. On the one hand, it’s a pity, but on the other hand, thanks to this, they can boast of unattainable capabilities for flagships. For example, Nokia G11 works up to 3 days according to the manufacturer!

Nokia G11 – long battery life

The main advantage of the new Nokia G11 is, as described on the manufacturer’s website, an efficient battery that allows you to avoid using the charger for a long time. The company does not disclose how many milliamp-hours the battery installed here but assures that it will be enough for 3 days of operation of the device. Is such a battery runs really? Quite possible.

We assume that the battery in the new Nokia smartphone has a capacity of at least 5050 mAh. Assuming that the three-day result does not seem out of reach. Especially if you take into account the low power consumption of the other elements of the specification.

Components that should not be energy intensive

The Nokia G11 comes with a 6.51-inch IPS HD+ display (1600 x 720 pixels) that refreshes at 90Hz. The lower pixel density certainly translates into greater power savings than Full HD+ designs. On the front, we also have an 8MP selfie camera.

On the back of the case is a set of cameras: 50 MP (f / 1.8) and 2 MP, with LED flash. Below we also find the fingerprint scanner. The device received an IP53 waterproof rating. It measures 164.8 x 75.9 x 8.55mm and weighs only 192g.

The G11 uses a Unisoc T606 chip as a processor, a budget unit with a maximum clock speed of 1.6 GHz. For this, we have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory with the possibility of expanding the available space by 512 GB using a microSD card.

The smartphone allows you to connect headphones via a 3.5 mm audio jack, as well as a charger via a USB-C connector, however, this will only allow you to replenish energy with a power of 10 watts. It’s good that we will find the charger in the box along with the smartphone. Wireless headphones, like other Bluetooth accessories, will connect to the Bluetooth 5.0 standard, although NFC is clearly absent. The smartphone is equipped with standard communication modules: GPS/AGPS, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual-band 2.4/5G). An additional feature is FM radio.

Everything runs on Android 12. The manufacturer promises three years of security patches and two major system updates.

Nokia G11 is a good smartphone. It does not stand out with special bells and whistles, but this is not required from smartphones, their task is to make calls, surf the Internet and possibly play with which Nokia does an excellent job!
