New Apple tablets iPad 2022 and iPad Pro 2022 were presented by the world-famous company in October. In the review, we will consider their characteristics and figure out how gadgets differ from each other and what are their advantages compared to previous versions.
Visual and dimensions
The first thing that catches your eye when looking at the iPad 2022 is the new colors, equal-width margins, and the absence of a button at the bottom of the screen. Previous initial iPad models had a wide bottom and top bezels, while the new product has the same narrow bezels on all four sides. This is not a completely innovative solution – the Air and Pro versions tried on the new design a little earlier, and the turn of the base model came.
The new iPad 2022 weighs 10-15 grams less than the previous model – 477 grams in the base configuration – and has dimensions of 248.6 × 179.5 × 7 mm. Performance and memory

The resolution of the front cameras of both models is 12 megapixels.
iPad 2022 received a wide-angle lens with a resolution of 12 megapixels, equipped with autofocus, stabilization, and 5x digital zoom. During video calls, the camera automatically focuses on the person in the frame.
Autonomy
Apple tablets have always been distinguished by high autonomy – new items are no exception. The work of both versions is supported by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 28.6 Wh. By improving the energy efficiency of the chip, a single battery charge is enough for 10 hours of surfing the Internet – longer than a working day.
